Beyond the Fence Animal Rescue

Founded in 2022 by Dr. Sasha Golovyan, Beyond the Fence Animal Rescue was created with a simple but powerful mission: to give animals facing uncertain futures a second chance at life. We rescue pets from euthanasia lists across the country, support overwhelmed local shelters, and provide puppies from breeding mills with the opportunity to experience the love and care they deserve.

Since our founding, we have helped rescue and rehome over 720 dogs and 45 cats, and we are just getting started. Every animal we save is a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can change a life forever.

Our work is fueled by the compassion of our volunteers, the expertise of our veterinary partners — including Dr. Golovyan and the team at Animal Clinic of Milford — and the generosity of supporters like you. Your donations directly fund critical veterinary care, safe shelter, nutritious food, and all the essentials needed to help these animals heal, thrive, and find their forever homes.

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference. Thank you for standing with us — and for believing in a world where every pet has a chance to live, love, and flourish beyond the fence.
